Sometimes I catch myself staring at my expenses for the month, half-regretting that extra dinner out. Then I remember: there are people buying Labubus. (Yes, those collectible plush/figurine things.)
Suddenly, my “overspending on food” guilt feels a bit silly — because what really matters is why we spend, and whether it brings us joy.
I’m not saying Labubus are evil, or that you should never splurge on whims. What I am saying is: consumption isn’t a morality test. Whether it’s food, fashion, toys — so long as it doesn’t hurt your finances, body, or peace of mind — you deserve to enjoy it.
