With the aim of bringing sustainability to the forefront through offering consumers environmentally responsible clothing options as wardrobe staples, Skechers, The Comfort Technology Company and a global leader in lifestyle and performance footwear, launches its first-ever Recycle Apparel Collection, made from 100% recycled polyester.
Certified by Control Union and Global Recycled Standard, the international, voluntary and full product standard for recycle content as well as social and environmental practices, the materials of this collection are sustainably sourced from post-consumer recycled polyester.
With a comprehensive selection of over 53 items for both men and women, this collection is also part of Skechers’ ongoing effort towards improving its global impact through its commitment to reduce waste and environmental impact as well as protect our world’s lands and waters.
Transcending the philosophy for conservation and sustainability within the brand, Skechers has also reduced its carbon footprint since 2016 by utilising environmentally conscious materials, with 100% of the brand’s paper-based foot form and tissue paper used within its shoeboxes being fully recyclable.
Within this Recycle Apparel Collection, consumers looking to make the eco-conscious fashion switch can find a selection of t-shirts, pullovers, shorts, pants, long skirts and hooded dresses. The collection not only makes for cool and comfortable style to wear for a grocery run or at the gym, but also contributes to making the world a better and liveable place for future generations.
The range of tops from this collection are also stylishly emblazoned with the tagline “Recycle, Reduce, Reuse” or “Earth to Comfort” as a reminder to encourage everyone to start doing their part to protect and save our planet.
As a way to pay homage to Nature and Mother Earth, the Skechers Recycle Apparel Collection uses a distinct palette of earthy and neutral tones, such as raw umber, forest green, yellow iris, lilac, coral pink and sky pale.
In addition, each item is also accompanied by a hang tag that certifies the use of recycled polyester fibre in the garment, making it easy for consumers to browse through the selection and make informed purchases.
Sporting easy-to-wear styles in this collection, Lawrence Wong, Skechers Singapore Brand Ambassador said, “With recycling efforts being one of the most impactful ways to reduce harm to our environment, I’m happy that Skechers has launched the Recycle Apparel Collection to spread greater awareness and encourage everyone to be more eco-conscious in their style choices. We must all start to do our part as every little act counts”.

The Skechers Recycle Apparel Collection for men is now available online via www.skechers.com.sg and in selected Skechers concept stores islandwide, including Bugis Junction, Great World, Jewel Changi Airport, Junction 8, Jurong Point, NEX, Paragon, and Plaza Singapura, with prices ranging from S$39.00 to S$89.00.
